＜教育活動＞
授業
【観点１】教育方法及び成績評価面での取り組み
学生の学力にあわせて懇切丁寧な授業を行った。授業時間中は、学生に積極的に発言させたり、黒板を前にして説明させたり、学生になるべく活動させるように試みた。
【観点２】教育の達成状況
積極的に課題に取り組む学生が増えたように思うので、成果が上がっていると感じている。
研究指導
【観点１】学部
学部学生に専門の研究を指導するのは学力からしてたいへん困難であり、セミナーでの発表が授業の練習にもなるように心掛けた。
【観点２】大学院（修士課程、専門職学位課程、博士課程）
高度な実践力をつけるためには、それ相応の基礎学力が必要であるが、その基礎学力が身についていない大学院生が多くいると感じている。小学生でもできる数の足し算くらいは普通にできるようになってほしい。

- 大潟町小学校、新井小学校で研究授業を観察し、学生への助言をした。

◎社会への寄与等
上越教育大学修士会において修士の学生や現職の先生に、ショアの量子確率アルゴリズムを代数学の整数論を使って紹介し、情報化社会に警告を鳴らした。
