＜教育活動＞
授業
【観点１】教育内容・方法面での取組
学生の学力にあわせて懇切丁寧な授業を行った。授業時間中は、学生に積極的に発言させたり、具体的な問題を解かせ黒板を前にして説明させたり、学生になるべく活動させるように試みた。
【観点２】学修成果の状況
問題を自身で解かせることで授業への参加する態度に改善が見られたように思う。
研究指導
【観点１】学部
実践力以前に基礎学力がかなり不足しており、学生は実践力を学ぶ以前の基礎学力習得が必要であることを切実に感じた。そのために学生の学力習得のためしっかり授業をしたつもりだ。
【観点２】大学院（修士課程、専門職学位課程、博士課程）
大学院生の方が学部生よりも学力レベルが低いので、授業では学部生よりもより低度な授業を懇切丁寧に説明するように心掛けた。
その他の教育活動
- 附属小学校、新井北小学校、吉川中学校、直江津東中学校で研究授業を観察し、学生への助言をした。

◎社会への寄与等
上越教育大学修士会において修士の学生や現職の先生に、ショアの量子確率アルゴリズムを代数学の整数論を使って紹介し、情報化社会に警告を鳴らした。
