Goals:
WRITING EThe primary goal of this class will be to improve students` written English
skills. Several types of writing will be explored including informal writing for
interpersonal communication, creative writing, business writing, and academic writing.
Aspects that will be explored include mechanics, organization, and content.
ENGLISH COMMUNICATION - This class will be conducted in English only. Students will
practice their English skills not only through writing, but also through communication
activities, student-centered discussions, listening activities, and directed readings.
