Objectives: To enhance junior high/high school teachers' and students' understanding of America. To develop teaching materials for social studies (particularly, geograhic education) which contribute to deepening the understanding of America in the field of social studies education at junior high/high schools. To develop a web site and create a homepage for disseminating our results.
Audience: teachers of social studies at junior high/high schools mainly in the Hokuriku area, teachers of social studies all over Japan
